Perfect Link: one scorer, one assister, every gameweek

Free · two taps · one entry a gameweek

Perfect Link is a two-tap Premier League game on Perfect Eleven. Each gameweek has a board of six players, and everyone looking at it sees the same six. You tap one to score and a different one to assist. When the gameweek is over, both have to have delivered: your scorer with at least one goal, your assister with at least one assist. Hit both and your streak grows by one. Miss either and it goes back to zero. There is no draft, no rating and nothing to build, just two calls on real football.

How it works

  1. The board. Six midfielders and forwards from clubs playing that gameweek, drawn from the highest-priced attackers in the official Fantasy Premier League feed, usually including at least two forwards. A player flagged injured, suspended or unavailable is left out, and so is one known to have left his club; a player flagged doubtful can still appear. Because the board is drawn from the live feed, it can change during the week, for example when a player is ruled out.
  2. Pick two different players. Tap your scorer first, then your assister. They can play in different matches; they do not have to combine for the same goal.
  3. Lock it in before the deadline. Picks close at the official Fantasy Premier League deadline for the gameweek. You get one entry a gameweek, and once it is locked in it cannot be changed.
  4. It settles on official stats. Once every match of the gameweek has finished, your scorer needs at least one goal and your assister at least one assist. Players are matched on their Fantasy Premier League ID, never by name, so two players who share a surname cannot be confused.
  5. Read the verdict. Both delivered is a Perfect Link. One out of two, or neither, is Broken. Until the last match ends, your entry simply reads Locked in.

The streak and the board

The streak counts gameweeks, not days: a Perfect Link adds one, a broken link sets it back to zero, and your best run is kept alongside it. Post your entry to the Perfect Link board under a display name and it shows your two results and your streak next to everyone else’s. After you lock in, you can also see the most-picked pairs of the gameweek. The share text shows two squares and your streak, never the names, because your friends are looking at the same six.

Perfect Link runs on the gameweek’s rhythm on purpose: one board, open through the quiet midweek days, closed at the deadline every Premier League fan already knows. For something new every day, 3 FROM 6 and PL Daily reset each midnight Eastern.

A worked example

Say you are on a three-gameweek streak. On the new board you take a striker to score and a midfielder from another club to assist, and lock it in before the deadline.

Your share text would read one green and one red square in the first case, two green in the second, and never either player’s name.

Free or season pass

Perfect Link is free for everyone, with no signup and no pass. The season pass (one payment, twelve months, nothing auto-renews) adds the full draft modes; How to Play explains the main free and pass modes.

Questions

Do my scorer and assister have to be in the same match?
No. They can play in different matches anywhere in the gameweek. The scorer needs at least one goal and the assister at least one assist; they do not have to combine for the same goal.
When do picks lock?
At the official Fantasy Premier League deadline for that gameweek. After that your entry cannot be changed, and it settles once every match of the gameweek has finished.
Is Perfect Link free?
Yes, for everyone, with no signup and no season pass.
