How the ranking works

Goalkeepers share the one 40–99 scale with every outfield player, and the order below is simply that rating, highest first. It is an editorial judgement of overall quality for 2026-27, not a save-percentage model, and only one keeper starts per club, so a high-rated backup is a draft pick you may never see in a real line-up. The tiers

Alisson at 94, Emiliano Martínez at 92, Gianluigi Donnarumma at 90 and David Raya at 89 sit clear of the field, and then the list falls off a cliff: fifth place is Jordan Pickford at 84, five full points below fourth. No other position has a gap that large that high up.

Beneath the cliff, the rest of this top thirty runs from 84 down to 73 — 26 goalkeepers inside eleven points, so a single rating point can move a keeper several places.

With only 58 rated goalkeepers against 169 defenders, the position is also the shallowest in the league. Roughly one player in nine is a goalkeeper, and only four of them sit above the cliff.

What this means for your draft

This is the position that decides drafts. You need exactly one goalkeeper, four clubs have one of the keepers above the cliff, and the gap between one of them and a mid-list keeper at 80 is nine points or more on a single pick. If Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City or Arsenal come up early and you already have forwards, taking the keeper is almost always right.

The corollary: do not burn skips waiting for one. Skips are limited, and the difference between the fifth-best keeper and the fifteenth is four points — far less than you lose burning skips to chase Alisson.
